Dr. Amar Kumar Jayaram

Dr. Amar Kumar is a surgeon with 30 years of experience which includes stint of six and half year work at Royal Liverpool Hospital and Middlesex Hospital in London. During his distinguished career, he has successfully performed more than 6000 Endourological procedures for prostate and stones diseases with operative mortality rate of nil and less than 1% complication rate. He has also completed more than 150 Laparoscopic Radical & Partial Nephrectomy, Orchidopexy & Pyeloplasty with less than 5% complication rate. He has been involved in reconstructive urology which includes Complex Urethroplasties, Hypospadiasis Repair with fistula rate of less than 15% and success rate of 90%.

Earlier, Dr. Amar Kumar got an opportunity to work with Sanjay Trauma Centre where he was involved in the management of complex bladder, urethral ans kidney injuries. In the evergrowing field of Andrology, he has dealt with many cases of Erectile Dysfunction and Male Infertility with appropriate medical and surgical management (Penis Prothesis).

Diabetic Urosepsis has been a challenge to Dr. Amar Kumar in which he has been involved in treating more than 200 patients for the past 5 years. He has presented several papers related to Diabetic Urosepsis in various conferences related to Urology.

Dr. Amar Kumar has held position of President of Bangalore Urological Society. He has conducted numerous workshops, camps and has number of papers published in Indian Journal of Urological Society and British Journal of Urology.
